The best cruise we’ve been on so.. The entertainment was first rate especially the Viking Oaseas band and singers. We danced away the evening virtually every night. The specialty restaurants are included without extra charge. The Chefs Table had great local cuisine with a menu change every three days. The new observation deck included some interesting shows, our favorite was the Artic sky.

The area around the pool deck was spacious and with only 950 passengers on board it was rarely crowded even on sea days. The roof was convertible so if the weather permitted it was open

Port days were interesting and well planned lines to enter or leave the ship were nonexistent unless you came back late. One of the best features you can chose between included and optional tours the seaplane ride was one of our favorites

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

Roomy, shower had lots of room a feature out on every ship. Cabin service was first rate and included a stocked bar fridge and room service at no charge

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Excellent stop but a little crowded 4 other cruise ships

Icy Strait

Too windy most tours cancelled

Seward

Great scenery and again a knowledgeable tour guide

Kodiak

Small but quaint

Dutch Harbor

Not much there but history during the war was interesting (Japanese takeover)

Tokyo (Yokohama)

Extremely clean and polite city. Need extra time here at least 3 days to enjoy the area and culture
