After 18 NCL cruises we decided this was the worst one!

The problem of being on so many cruises with NCL creates an automatic comparison on overall and on particular events. Lets face it the cruise director and his second banana are beginners in training. The design of the Breakaway type ship does not help either. While the epic / pearl type had the Spinnakers for dancing and general use and many smaller sites The Breakaway type uses the Atrium for everything creating an unwanted congestion and tremendous lack of seating. Many of the events at the Atrium could have been done at the theater. The dancing / music selection/ bands/ singers/ dance classes were worst ever! If you compare Judy at the Pearl , her effort , her attention to details, her understanding of advice with these beginners there is NO COMPARISON.. The cruise director does not know how to do his job. Most if not all entertainments events were packed into a non functioning 45 min time. So how you develop the feel for dancing if you only get 10 songs? Variety does not means more entertainment! They teach a class of Latin music and then THERE IS NO MORE OF THAT MUSIC ON BOARD TO PRACTICE?..come on ... I brought my tablet on some empty places and danced on my own and after a while others joined in ?..Why do not play dancing music all the time at empty salons?..maybe because NCL does not makes money selling booze?. The food selection at the buffet was also inferior to ALL THE OTHER CRUISES.! At Moderno we found a new species of cows.. Filet mignon with veins and fat? The manager and food servers handled our complaints very well / but why cheat on the quality? Does the CEO wants more money? Probably this was the last cruise at NCL!.. sorry for that.
