Small ship, great shore excursions. The food venues were fantastic and the entertainment venues were fabulous. I would not way to be on a larger ship, it would be too crowded. We loved the Barcelona excursion of Gaudi Architecture. Monaco was impressive. We loved Pisa and Lucca. Rome is indescribable. The Amalfi Coast was beyond words. Being on the edge of a cliff is breathtaking. We saw the Stromboli volcano erupting was a once in a lifetime occurrence. Who sees that in their lifetime? The day at sea was very relaxing no. We got to experience parts of the ship we had not yet seen. We experienced the spa as well as Manfredi’s restaurant. Corfu Greece was another world. Then we visited Dabrovnik, Croatia which was a wonder. Split was fabulous with the Cetina River Cruise. Then, entering Venice was the highlight of the trip! Cruising past the Grand Canal was the best! The crew of Viking Star was the best!
