I have been on cruise critic since booking our trip and did read many reviews, but kept an open mind and didn't get tied into any expectations or worrying. I'm glad I didn't listen to the negatives for the most part. Is it a big boat, oh yea..but she's gorgeous and the attention to detail is outstanding. I'm not going to do a daily review, because i can't remember everything, but here are some highlights and a couple low lights to be fair. We are a 41 and 35 year old. She gets younger billing, but wanted you to know going in that we're laid back and roll with things.

The food was great, but we ate at specialty restaurants 3 nights, in the dining room for the 2 formal nights and the first night and then somewhere else on Monday night. The restaurant food was great. The first night I had chicken something and the sauce on it was incredible. The lobster for the Thursday formal night was excellent. 150 central park had me worried. I'm a picky eater. Mostly meat and potatoes (ill get to chops in a minute), but the menu at 150 was excellent. I had never had Duck Confi before because the thought of duck wasn't appealing, but it was good. I tried many things that I had never tried before and they were all great. Chops was excellent. I told my wife our reservations were for 7:30 and they were for 6:30. I was still at one of the pool bars. The hostess called and rescheduled for 7:15 and we were seated right away. I had the 7oz filet and it melted in your mouth. My wife had ordered a bottle of wine in the restaurant and they went up and got it for her. We also got a seat at the chefs table. We sat with a great bunch of people and had a great time. The chef was friendly and the Sommellier was very knowlegeable and had a great personality as well. Again, I was worried about the menu and what i would be eating, but after my 150 central park experience, I was a little more at ease. Even the pea soup was good..and it was PEA soup. I did giggle when the somellier said this wine will really bring out the pea taste...come on..he said pea taste!!! Very glad we did those restaurants.

SERVICE EVERYWHERE WAS OUTSTANDING...not only in the restaurants but everywhere. The bar waiter honestly forgot about my order. Our MDR waiter followed up after about 5 minutes when he noticed I didn't have a drink and I told him it was ordered but I didn't have it yet. The bar waiter came over with my drink, told me he forgot and that it was on him. I was so taken with his honesty that I told him to put it on my bill, but he insisted no. HE WAS HONEST..that was great to hear, no excuses, just "i screwed up, sorry"..I MIGHT have waited 10 minutes for a free drink..There should be more of honesty and less excuses. Anyway, SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.
