We booked this cruise because we wanted to see Greece and Italy. All was going fairly well until the night before we got to Florence which was our last Italian port. After returning to our cabin after the entertainment, an announcement came over the PA system that we will not be stopping in Florence due to engine problems. We would dock in Civitavecchia and stay there all of the next day and night. They handled not going to Florence by giving every cabin a $100 "on-board credit." Missing a major highlight of this trip was very disappointing and valuing it at only $100 "on-board credit per cabin" is very unreasonable. Our contact with Norwegian yielded a response with an apology and stating that $100 on board credit was all they felt we should receive. When responding to that, we got no response. Very disappointed with Norwegian customer service!!

As far as the ship is concerned, the drinks were inconsistent from bar to bar. The NCL dancers were great but the rest of the entertainment was mediocre at best. We found the staff in the main dinning rooms to be inattentive. As far as the specialty restaurants go, we liked La Cucina and the rest were not so special. Can't comment on Cagny's because we had a bad experience on a previous cruise on Norwegian and did not reserve a table there on this cruise.

The cabin was cramped. Not enough closet space or counter space.
