The Viking Homelands itinerary seemed perfect for us and though we hadn’t been on a Viking Cruise before, had always heard good things. The experience from start to finish was amazing and, now that we have been thoroughly spoiled, would find this cruise line hard to beat. The friendly staff’s prompt attentiveness and professionalism, exceptional logistics from embarking to disembarking (and all in-between), well planned tours in each country and variety of dining options exceeded our expectations. The ship is so well laid out that you can find quiet getaway areas or seek out activities to join, as you’d like. It never felt too crowded. The Viking staff take all feedback to heart and they seem to be continually looking for ways to achieve the wow factor for all of their guests. It was quite relaxing to leave all of the details to Viking and we are delighted to have had such a positive experience.
