We enjoyed the destination and staff, but there are any number of areas that need to be improved. Entertainment, food quality and the land cruise portion come to mind. However, the glaciers and landmass so spectacular its difficult not to be in awe - so definitely visit Alaska.

The land portion was spectacular in terms of the natural beauty (and we hit the perfect time for fall leaf color). Unfortunately the staff were at the end of the season and it showed in terms of responsiveness and behavior (screams from the kitchen two night in a row). We understand these young adults have worked hard for the entire season, however, this was our vacation and this impacted our enjoyment.

The Royal Princess cruise director was excellent and tried hard, however, the actual show content was kind of embarrassing at times. The talent tried hard but the actual productions were disjointed and do not compare to Norwegian. We also had the same comedian as the main entertainment two night - he was great - but two out of limited number of nights on board.

Great space - larger than we expected - plenty of storage space as well.
