  3. Carnival Magic
We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary with family and friends. We had 8 cabins booked and we all were satisfied with our cabins. The Magic is done up in good taste and easy to find where you want to go. Buffet was very good, no problems other than an occasional long line but nothing to complain about. Would be nice to have a larger variety of desserts other than the cakes. Also for breakfast, it would be nice to have donuts along with the little pastries, but all is good none the less. Dining in the dining room was very nice but being a large group, we were pretty much the last table to leave. Service was excellent as always but a smidgeon slow. We also miss HOT, HOT, HOT dance. We said the same thing the last 2 cruises. Bring them back please. We have been on several Carnival ships and always enjoyed them. Never any complaints! Entertainment is why I didn't give a 5* rating. That has gone down hill within the last couple of years. None of us were pleased. The comedian was good but it was repeated the last day. We rushed to get to the area so we could get seats to find that it was a repeat of Monday night. Therefore, no entertainment the last night was available. We want to go on another Carnival cruise but fear the same thing will happen. We always enjoyed the Vegas style shows so I guess we'll have to visit Vegas to see that again. Excursions are getting pricier every year but that is to be expected with everything these days. We were unable to visit Half Moon Cay which was a disappointment but understandable due to the hurricane. That was the main reason we booked this cruise because that was the only island we have not visited yet. They took us to Nassau instead which we've been to 6 times. LOL

A Little Disappointed!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View
Cabin 6L 1435
Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Our cabin steward was Aldin and he was very very nice and friendly and was willing to do what we wanted him to do. He brought me a different pillow that I asked him for and it was perfect. He also brought in an extra blanket just in case.
There has been a change in the cabin category though. They now ask if we want the full service or just morning or just evening. I believe they are short of help. They also ask if you want to use the robes instead of them being in each room as before. We had no problem with this.
