We wanted to see most of the Great Lakes on a small ship. Enjoyed all the ports. Learned much of the history of Erie camel. Niagra Falls.

Even the small towns welcomed us.

I could smoke an occasional cigarette on an upper deck. Loved the entertainment by a man who was about to become an American Citizen.

Lovely dining room waiter.

Elevator was quick.

Nice guests of diverse countries and interesting backgrounds.

An optional tour of Holland Michigan. We happened to go by my grandmothers home.

Our ports were not tourisy except Macaneaux Island. The crowd could be avoided by going to the woods and tours outside of town.

The weather happened to be perfect every day. A lucky gift.

We enjoyed the cruise so much we signed up for a Lewis and Clark cruise on the Columbia River and Snake River which leaves October 1 from Spokane on America Westcruises ship Song.
