Sail Date: Sep 2019

We chose this cruise as it was going to the islands we wanted to see. The embankment was a breeze. We were on the ship within 15 minutes of arriving. The ship was in very good shape and very clean. We had a balcony cabin and was very nice. Comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom had a shower door which was nice and a medicine cabinet to store toiletries. I do not understand the complaints I read about the ship before we sailed. The food was very good in the Winjammer cafe. We had my time dining and the food and service were both good. Probably some of the best food we’ve had on a cruise and we have been on many. The one thing serverly lacking was the entertainment. The pool pretty much had nothing not even any music. The only day was the last day a sea day they had band and a few things going on. At night they have the shows which we don’t enjoy and that was it. No comedian. We went to the Skooner bar and listened to the singer, Michael and he was very good. The ports were good but very crowded. We loved Santorini and Athens. We were not able to tender to Mykonos so we missed that port which was a big disappointment. All in all we had a good time except not much to do at night and the pool activities were lacking.
