My husband & I took this cruise with our 3 grown children & our son's fiancee. 4 of us had taken the same cruise in 2016 on the Norwegian Dawn. We all had a great time in Bermuda - we went to Elbow Beach & Horseshoe Bay and we went Helmet Diving with Hartley's and snorkling with Rising Son. (It's much cheaper to book the excursions yourself than to do it through the cruise line. The food on the ship was excellent - we ate at Le Bistro, Cagney's, Moderno, both main dining rooms, Orchid Garden (the only restaurant we didn't really like, but we're from the Boston area where there are many excellent Asian restaurants) & the buffet. We especially liked the food from the grills that were set up near the pool at lunch time. The only thing that was a disappointment was that they would not take down the doors between our balconies. Our travel agent didn't know about this, so when we booked 3 rooms with adjoining balconies we had thought that we could all be on the balconies together. The rooms were too small for 6 people, and there were no small lounges on the floors with the staterooms (they do have those on the Dawn). We tried to go to the card room but it was often busy & there were tables reserved for bridge (and once there was a painting class in there). We went to the bigger lounges, but there were often activities going on there. Because of this we may choose a different cruise line next time.
The cabins are fine for 2 people but nothing fancy. We were disappointed that we couldn't connect the balconies so there was no place for all 6 of us to be together.
