We chose this ship because we sailed on it in 2013 and were very happy with it except for the food but that was fine. When we saw the condition the ship was in and our cabin, we just couldn't believe it. It was tired, run down, dirty and very unattractive. RC removed some of the public areas and added cabins; therefore, the ship was overcrowded and understaffed. We met people who were showering with their shoes on because they were afraid of contracting some disease. Unbelievable. We don't understand what RC is trying to achieve by offering this type of cruising experience but we will never be cruising on these ships again. They do however a great job on their Oasis class ships. we liked the itinerary in the Greek islands and some of their excursions. Guest Relations was always very busy because hundreds of guests were complaining about something because practically nothing was right. Our Stateroom Attendant was amazing but most of the staff didn't really care. I guess the example comes from the top. The one responsible for the Excursions was extremely rude and didn't care about the passenger's satisfaction with a particular excursion. Some of the staff did the best they could with the resources they had. Royal Caribbean's senior management is lacking leadership and consideration for their passengers and personnel. We will never cruise on their small ships again and never suggest it to any of our friends or acquaintances.
