We chose Pride of America because there wasn't an alternative for just cruising around the Hawaiian Islands. The alternate requires cruising from the North American west coast with 4 wasted days at sea. The most disappointing aspect on Pride of America was the quality of food offered in some of the venues. Specifically their "Italian" spot was certainly not worth any upcharge; indeed there should be a partial refund of ticket price for wasting our night there. Drinks are outrageously expensive and unlike other ships we've sailed, Pride of America. charges for bottled water. With one exception, Customer Service staff are clearly not part of the A Team. They screwed up on booking a shore excursion, they generally don't seem particularly interested in their jobs, and provided incorrect information when queried. Communications were generally pathetic and clearly the worst parts of this organization are their website and their call center.
