We planned our trip along with my brother and his wife who were celebrating their 51st anniversary. well the weather didn't cooperate as hurricane dorian caused a change in itinerary which was unavoidable however when we booked our choices we picked premium bar package and paid the gratuity that goes with it $58.00. The cruise line because of the changes gave everyone free open bar and did not take away the gratuity we were charged and the explanation we received was we were getting top shelf and cruisers who got the free open bar were not. we were only given the top shelf the last two days after the fact. NCL refunded a port charge of $45.00 each. overall we made the best of the trip food was really very good entertainment was excellent one problem was our room was very hot and they had trouble getting the a/c in the room to do a good job. My wife had a minor injury the day of boarding she tripped over a bump in the gangplank fell and cut her arm and leg as well as a bruised knee kind of ruined the first day. but we will most likely cruise with NCL again as we both very much . the buffet was enjoyed freestyle dining and casual attire in the dining room. the selections in the buffet were limited in comparison to other ships we have cruised on. below I have given shore excursions poor because of the situation of changing itinerary no time to really plan our waiter was named andreas and his coworker were excellent they were attentive funny and made sure we were happy with our food. when we would ask for them the maitre'd even made him available by reassigning them from what they were doing and making them available for our meals cudos to the staff in the dining room.
