STAR CRUISES 25TH APRIL - 30TH APRIL 10 SINGAPORE - SINGAPORE

Arrived in Singapore from Australia at 7.20pm Saturday evening, transfer to Royal Plaza on Scotts. Transfer next day-

Sunday at midday to the cruise terminal. Super Star Virgo is a beautiful majestic looking ship. Arrived at cruise terminal at 12.35pm huge line of people of mainly, Asians, Indians & Chinese. Probably only 70 or so Australians were on board. Boarded between 1.30-2.00pm according to the embarkation photos We were in Balcony Cabin 10136 Starboard Aft, it is a nice position and is in immaculate condition like the rest of the ship. There was ample cupboard space, with little dressing table, safe, slimline tv, small table and chair, coffee table and sofa bed plus our double bed configuration. There is no fridge in the cabins, only an ice bucket which we have requested to be filled daily. The balcony isn't very big but we found it quite comfortable for two with the chairs and drinks table. All in all we were pleasantly surprised at the lovely dEcor and feel of the ship overall. Being Balcony Class we headed down to Deck 7 for champagne prior to embarkation. We headed straight for the couple that looked like they may be from Oz. Yes, they were from Newcastle. Not long after that the Ozzie group grew to 14 all of whom shared a joke or two and a good time was had by all. We headed to the Meditteranean Buffet for dinner which has a good selection of cold meats, salads, Indian, fruit and desserts. The drink waiters gave us attention beyond reproach they were just awesome. We awoke to the ships horn around 1.00am and we could see a lot of lights looming closer, it turned out that we were docking unexpectadly in Port Klang as there was a medical emergency on board. This in turn changed our itinerary
