We chose this cruise because friends were already booked and we decided to travel with them; otherwise, we would have chosen another cruise line. Our cabin was spacious and clean. The bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. The television was a good size with excellent quality transmission and a great variety of viewing options. Our cabin steward was excellent. Good amount of closet space and clean bathroom. The crew was very nice. The best hand tossed fresh made pizza. The complimentary Port Valet service was excellent. This enabled us to have our luggage transported directly to the airport and have our boarded passes printed and delivered to our cabin. The internet connectivity was inconsistent. The food in the dining room and Crown Grille was just okay. The buffet dining was only bad because it was always difficult to find a table and when we did, our hot food was cold. There should be staff to keep up cleaning tables and to guide passengers to available tables. The worst experience was the Anytime Dining. Unlike other cruise lines that offer this dining option where you can show up any anytime or pre-reserve for a desired time, Princess does not take advance reservations. Consequently, we stood on long lines (like cattle herding) waiting usually 45 minutes to an hour for a table (and not just at prime time but anytime we went). One night we gave up after waiting so long that we went for pizza. We have been on 50+ cruises over the past 40 years. This was our first and last cruise on Princess.
