We had not cruised on the Dawn since 2008 as we usually travel with Celebrity Cruises. After contemplation we decided to give NCL another try and we were not disappointed. We splurged on a suite right in the front of the ship, overlooking the bow. Wow! What a location. Private and quiet. The suite (9500) was huge and the bathroom did not make you into a contortionist. The food was good in the main dining room. We chose to eat in The Venetian each night and we asked for the same waiter every evening. Komang from Indonesia was absolutely fabulous and very accommodating. The cruise director staff were a lot of fun, but a special recognition of Pablo F is in order. He made our cruise with his wit and charm. What a lovely guy. We did not find the ship itself dated, as in other reviews. The decor was indeed pleasant around the ship, and the cabins were beautifully appointed. Our one and only gripe was that the Garden Cafe buffet was not good at all. There was not much selection and the food was bland. Not a big deal as there are so many other great choices onboard. The very best thing about being in a suite is that for breakfast and lunch you get to eat in a private setting in Moderno restaurant where it is quiet and the service is impeccable. Well worth the price of admission. We are considering another cruise with NCL. Bravo!

Fabulous crew

The Kennedy Space Center is a thrill if you've never been. We only had about two and a half hours at the site so time is limited. Try to choose two or three things that you must see and head for them. Space Center bus tour is fabulous. The transfer from ship to bus
