I live in New York and like sailing from here. The Dawn was the ship I took my first cruise more than ten years ago. I know that it was renovated and it looked beautiful. Embarkation went smoothly because my sister who traveled with me needed wheel chair assistance which we received shortly after arriving at the pier. We were immediatley taken to security and on the ship. That was excellent service. We had to wait a little while for our room to be ready, however a delicious buffet lunch was waiting for us. W had a balcony room with a pull out bed. Even though it was three of us in the room we were comfortable. Our cabin stewart gave us excellent service. Overall the food was good the only critizen was at breakfast the bacon everyday was over or under cooked presented in a big ball which was hard to pull apart. The overall cruise was excellent
