Did a lot of research before choosing this cruise for me and my teenage daughter. We knew we wanted to spend a few days in the Anchorage area before cruising. This cruise started in Seward and ended in Vancouver. It was the perfect size ship with the best itinerary, entertainment and price. We are not big foodies so mostly ate at the buffet which always had great variety and different themes every night. The entertainment was excellent and changed nightly. The comedian was hilarious, the production cast soooo talented. Anna and Vlad were amazing. The singers (Hanna was awesome) and dancers were fantastic.

We loved the port heavy itinerary, got to see so much of Alaska with this cruise. Glacier viewing from Spinnaker Lounge was very comfortable but also the outside viewing options were perfect. Whale watching in Icy Strait was so cool. Loved seeing orcas from the ship in the Inside Passage thanks to the captains announcement!

Service on the ship was A+. Our cabin steward was awesome. Loved the extra touches like being greeted with hot chocolate or cucumber soup when coming back from excursions.

All around a wonderful trip!

Cabin Review

Oceanview Picture Window
Cabin OC 5516

was really torn about splurging for a balcony or saving money to spend on excursions. Ended up choosing an Oceanview Picture Window close to the elevators and this was absolutely perfect for us. Loved waking up everyday and seeing where we were. Great being close to the theatre as that is our favorite activity. Being able to walk up 2 flights to the atrium was very convenient. Only downfall was having to walk the whole length of the ship to get my coffee in the morning. Definitely got lots of exercise.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Seward

We took the ACT Big Bus from ANC to Seward. Very comfortable, easy boarding process and timing was perfect for us. Picked up at ANC at 11:30, arrived Seward before 2pm. They brought our bags right to the cruise ship baggage check-in and we walked on the ship. No lines, no stress.

Whale Watching

Best experience of the whole trip! Small boat, only 5 passengers. Theresa and Shawn were wonderful, professional, and experienced. Saw sooo many humpbacks, seals, otters.

Mount Roberts Tramway

Views from the tram were beautiful. Shuttle to the tram was free and convenient. Watched the movie about Tlingoot culture, it was very interesting.

Yukon Van Tour

Excellent service, very comfortable, clean bus. Small group so tour was tailored to our preferences. We also included the Dog Cart ride at Carcross, it was very fun and loved meeting the dogs afterward. Lunch was also included and delicious.

Vancouver

Disembarkation took forever. A Disney ship came in at the same time as us. Taxis are limited. We almost missed our connection but the woman organizing the line let us cut ahead which got alot of complaints from others waiting.

Ketchikan

very nice town to walk around, see creek street and the salmon ladder
