Chose this cruise for the itinerary which was excellent. Loyal Royal Caribbean diamond member.
The cabin was as expected. Very clean. The bathroom sink had shallow cracks in it. The shower faucet had obviously been repaired but not well. There was a sharp hole in the left side handle. On the right side we had to learn how to manipulate the handle to get enough hot water. They did send the plumber in good time to replace the side with the hole.
Dining was disappointing in the main dining room for the evening meal.. Not a lot of variety and the food was not much better than a local restaurant. No lobster for a twelve day cruise. The Windjammer was pretty much the same. Breakfast in the dining room was the same every day.
Nightly entertainment was excellent. One complaint - one night no entertainment at all.
Casino very smokey.
The waiters and room attendant were excellent.
The ports and excursions were excellent.
I feel that loyalty benefits are eroding. They are selling the key instead of treating loyal members who have spent a lot of money cruising with them to more benefits.
I also think they are lowering quality in the dining room in the hopes of selling specialty dining.
Very clean. Needs new fixtures and furniture.
