Sail Date: Aug 2019

It was wife’s birthday so went for it

Enjoyed cruise but I was disappointed in the timings ,the boat went up the fjords early morning (while in bed) out in evening (while at dinner ) thus missing some of the scenery

A shorter stay at the places would have cured some of that, as there was nothing much in the villages stopped at .b t w £1.75 to use loo in one place by c c !

Cabin Review

Cabin Sea view

Clean ,plenty of room ,beds were comfortable ,toilet area good ,good shower too.

Kept well by our steward ,sea view but you had to stand up on bed to see it

Port Reviews

Flam

Never went off as I was a bit concerned about the tender as I have walking and movement problems ,but enjoyed it from boat

Geiranger

Managed to get on to the tender ok then Went on the hop on hop off bus, and enjoyed the trip ,they could not get the door closed so we had to transfer bus after a long wait ,however it was good

Stops at the waterfalls and the scenic views ,

Beware £1.75 to use the toilet in the bus park and it’s credit card only

A Chinese guy could not get it to open ,kept putting his card in ,then it opened .

Wonder how much he got charged

Olden

Boat went into port so no problems wit tenders ,nice place ,again went on hop on hop off bus that took us up to the glacier and viewing points ,then stopped of at the shopping centre for a look round .

Very nice wee place

Bergen

Again right into port ,had a wee look round port area as wife went shopping as they do

Nothing bought !
