We chose this Cruise because we saw the ship coming off of our 12th Anniversary to Jamaica and we decided then and there, we wanted to do this ship for our 13th Anniversary. The price we paid for our Cruise was great. The food on the ship was good but it can be better. When we bought our Cruise last year, the tourist who helped us said it was a different experience and it was. Just like she said, MSC caters to the Europeans! It's like nobody else matters but our money spends the same. The staff, mainly the ones dressed in white are stuck up with nasty attitudes! Never saw the Captain not one day! The only entertainment we enjoyed was the Michael Jackson show. That was the worse KARAOKE I've ever seen on a Cruise and it was just one night! MSC Seaside never starts any shows, bands, games, etc. on time. It's like they wait til the last minute to show up and set up. The music groups are amazing. Seaside has some Awesome singers but they only cater to certain people with their music and that's not right! When you advertise R&B SOUL, then that's what you need to be performing is R&B SOUL!! When you advertise Old School Jams, then perform Old School Jams! Their entertainment can use a lot of adjustment.

Cabin Review

Aurea Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

Our cabin was OUTSTANDING! Antonio, our Stateroom Attendant was Amazing and we showed him just how much we appreciated him throughout our entire Cruise. Wish other employees of Seaside could be just as nice, friendly, caring and concerned as Antonio was to us! GREAT JOB ANTONIO!!

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Our tour was simply Amazing, thanks "Cowboy!" Port was quick and easy, loved it! Such Beautiful and friendly people.

My husband and I celebrated our 13th Anniversary on Seaside. May not be a big deal to MSC but it was a big deal for us. On other Cruises weve taken, they go all out to acknowledge why youre cruising and when you get to your cabin, you feel appreciated! It's the little things that mean so much. Our cabin was amazing and we enjoyed the balcony. But it wouldve been nice to have a fruit basket, chocolates, rose petals or something to acknowledge our Anniversary! Just a thought.

MSC Seaside is a GORGEOUS Ship! We had a wonderful time meeting different people from around the world who were so much fun and down to earth. Some of the people as well as MSC Staff were very arrogant! Never smiling or conversating, maybe theyre in the wrong line of work. Great Customer Service goes a long way! Our stateroom steward was the best!

The food at the Marketplace was Outstanding! The restaurant, not so much. Activities were pretty good but the entertainment sucked! On Friday, the Michael Jackson show was AMAZING! Ive never on all the Cruises weve been on experience Karaoke like that, it was Awful and it was only one night, thats a no no! With Seaside being a new ship, they shouldve had a nice big screen the way other ships do.

When doing games or competitiveness during different shows, the Cruise Director should never say theyre giving prizes to the winning team and not back up what he said; thats not cool. When we asked a staff member where a certain place was on the ship, the couldnt even tell us. More training needed in that department.

I loved how the adults ad their private area away from the kids. That was superb! The staff was ready to send the kids back to their area and away from the adults side, thank you! Now allowing parents to bring their kids into the bar areas shouldve been addressed. Kids do not need to see certain things and be subjected to alcohol, cursing and nasty dancing, thats not a good look. Sorry, if you dont agree!

We will give MSC another try but were planning on going with another Cruise company next year. The only way we change our plans, if MSC offers us a really good deal! Overall, good Cruise!
