We chose Carnival because it was budget friendly! It was my husband, myself and our 2 year old and 6 other family members. Went onto the ship with such hesitation as everyone seemed to have terrible things to say about Carnival and I can tell you none of them were true. Our steward Yoga was incredibly kind and thorough. The entertainment staff Adele and Lee made us feel like family and always at home and we were hugging them when we left the ship, they were fun, upbeat, kind and caring! The entertainment was phenomenal. The Cruise Director Mat was incredible, he has the best attitude and is so good at what he does as is everyone else. Cristian and Lauren who both do bar waiting we incredible they are such nice people and made us feel at home. But Tommy the head waiter in the Renoir Dining Room was absolutely incredible! When I say personable and kind I genuinely mean he made us feel so welcomed and we requested him every single night. We had a chaotic family of 9 and he and his team we wonderful. My daughter was looking for him every single day as we walked the ship and the last night she gave him a hug and we all took pictures. He knew every single one of us by name and I hope we get to see him and the others again next cruise, that goes for all the staff. Everyone from housekeeping to fun squad was great. By the end of the cruise we felt like a family on the ship!

The only con is the added extras you pay for and they can get pricey but I would do it all over again. My entire family and I have already said this was our best family Vacation we have ever had.
