We have sailed twice with Princess , but never again, a good itinerary, on paper not matched by poor and expensive excursions, our last cruise around Japan for the summer festivals was magical , the dining was top class, the excursions pricey but well done a good cruise experience ,although with poor and limited entertainment it had an old feel to it,however we booked the Canada and New England because of the itinerary lots of ports we hadn't visited looked good on first viewing, if only it had met our expectations, we had a balcony cabin as per previous cruises, good balcony and cabin tight shower!! ,
The zero entertainment supplied ( as standard), wears you down the cruise became a chore after dinner, which was of very high quality but con't make up for poor/no entertainment.this and extremely expensive ship's excursions, that left you with a feeling of having been milked for cash ,for very little. our night's usually ended in the starlite lounge.in search of some nightlife. The entire cruise had a really old feel, yes it had a large quota of 60+ passengers with disabilities,I,am 55 and disabled I walk using a stick but I'm not ready for horlick's and bed ,after dinner every night,The misery was completed by booking Princess own disembarkation package this supplies transport at disembarkation consisting of a coach from Quebec port to Montreal airport, which is booked prior to embarkation, months before, the coach journey took 3 hours, for which we were pre warned the fact that wwe wer taken to the airport 10 hours before our flight is damndable ,considering we were moved off the ship at 11.00 am to start our disembarkation, to get to Montreal airport for our 11.40 pm flight (10 hours in Montreal departures)come back new, I certainly didn't after that!
good size cabin
comprehensive city tour trumped by a pair of dolpnins playing in the surf
homes of the very rich, excellent lunch , bought separately, but still yhe best on this cruise.
