This was our first cruise. We wanted to cruise Alaska and Norwegian offered us that opportunity. The staff on this ship are exceptional hosts. We felt very welcomed and pampered. Honestly we did not know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. We were on an enormous ship with hundreds of people yet chose our own activities and seemed to always make new acquaintances. We saw two fabulous shows, Vlad and Anna and Le Cirque Bijou. The Glacier Bay National Park tour was a highlight as well as the talk by Becca - the park ranger. Whale watching was great, our guides were excellent. There are some excursions I wish we would have gone on but it was our first cruise and we picked excursions based on the web site info. We took a tram up to Mt. Robert in Juneau - beautiful view. Each little town had its own uniqueness and charm so we really enjoyed them all. Food on the ship was good. My husband wanted more seafood options and I'm more of a land lover so was happy with my choices. We did most of our dining in the Garden Cafe. We also had meals at the Tsar, Azura and O'Sheehan. The food was good, the service was amazing. We extended our trip to Denali and were in awe of our guides on each leg of our tour. Cruising is an interesting way to travel, a lot more structured than our usual excursions. Well organized and the people - a remarkable group, well trained and exceptional service providers. They convinced us, on a daily basis, that they were happy to have us on board. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Washy, washy. Happy, happy.

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IE

First cruise - next time I will choose a room with a window. Inside is very cave like and claustrophobic. Otherwise the location of our room was very convenient.
