Sail Date: Jul 2019

We wanted to go to Norway to look for my husband's roots, and he found this cruise that sounded interesting on a smaller, more elegant ship. Everything was smooth with great service from booking to disembarking; all of the staff were pleasant and helpful, the cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. Food was great with several restaurant choices, but we spent most meals in the delicious and bountiful buffet. We especially loved sitting on our veranda while the ship sailed out of ports and through the beautiful waters of the Norwegian coast.

Shore excursions were appropriate to the locations with very good guides and drivers. The optional excursions are relatively high priced, so we did some things on our own. We did a 3-day pre-cruise extension to Iceland which was really enjoyable and a good value.

The ship's entertainment was a bit narrowly focused, with good music performers and a fun magician, but would have liked more variety.

Cabin Review

Cabin deluxe veranda

Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, temperature good. The bathroom was well appointed with nice products and good shower, plenty of hot water. Enjoyed sitting on the veranda. TV service was mostly not available where we were, except for recorded programs.
