I chose this itinerary based on the desire to see Morocco and I wanted to take advantage of a cruise offer that included some European sailings. One day in Morocco was enough for me. I enjoyed every minute onboard the beautiful Norwegian Spirit and really enjoyed my stay in Barcelona. The Canary Islands were spectacular with Funchal Madeira now ranking as one of my top places visited. I had shore excursions planned at everynport andbthe Shore Excursion team was fantastic. Also, I spent more than my share of time in the casino and the slot attendant named Marco from Serbia was very attentive and good at his job. The drinkserver named Sandra from Mexico was very prompt and always smiling with a great laugh. Florina was the woman manager overseeing things in the casino and she was very professional and genuinely interested in my having a great time onboard. My friend and I wish we could return and duplicate this cruise with all of the same Norwegian cruise team members. Leo in the Photography Department made a lasting impression on us; he is a talented professional and I purchased many photos due to his level of expertise. My friend experienced a mishap getting off the ship and had to cancel her participation in an excursion, however, the shore excursion manager, security and medical personnel all were extremely caring and helpful in enabling us to have a fantastic time during our remaining days onboard. Thank you Norwegian

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

The cabin is a sideway situated cabin and since I was on the Spirit a few months prior, I was able to scope it out ahead of time. It felt more spacious since the interior cabin door does not open directly into a tunnel with a closet on one side and the restroom on the other which is the typical situation; in this sideways situated cabin the cabin door opens to the foot of a bed. I would recommend it.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Cruiseline excursion thatbtooknus around Barcelona then left us at the airport. It was well worth it!

Casablanca

I would recommend an cruiseline organized excursion while visiting Morocco. We stoppped at a local marked then went to the Hassan II Mosque. Tourguide was a local mannwhonis very good at his job.

Tenerife

Nice scenic teipnwhile in Santa Cruz. Going to Mount Teide. Bus stopped a few times along the way for picture taking.

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria)

Went to Bandama and a city tour. The bus was comfortable as usual and although it was raining the tour was nice.

Alicante

We took a tour here as well guided through NCL. It was convenient.
