having docked at Rotterdam this had changed pre booking ,we had to take a shuttle bus to Amsterdam this only gave us 3hrs instead of around 8hrs, arranged to meet old frends & both parties very sad of such a short stay

Late start at 10.30 doesn't give much time in place of interest.  Meal included which was nice as this was the only tour with food included, which was a shame as for the price meals shoiuld be offered in the price of the excursion.  Pleasant guide.

Stopped at the cemetary where we were left to wander on our own, this was nice. Very brief time at Pegasus Bridge (15mins in fact) on to Gold Beach which could have been any beach as the tide was in, then to a museum with little time to go in so grabbed a quick lunch, paid for by myself, as time was very limited. 

Left late afternoon, 2.30pm so missed dinner sitting on ship.  Guide was very informative and had excellent knowledge of the area. Tour was short, would have liked to see more.  Loved the cathedral.

as its just another pick up port for passengers, felt like we sneaked away from all ports.The Buffet is below par, we kept away.
