We choose the small ship , Viking Jupiter, just because of reviews and the wonderful convenience of having only 8-900 people on board !! When you wanted to exit the boat, there was no 'traffic jam'. We were on the top floor... the 8th. We could walk up and down to everywhere with ease. There weren't 25 buses for excursions... there were 4-5. Never crowded at anytime on the ship. Dinner reservations and dining was a pleasure with the small group of passengers. The staff knew everyone on board and our preferences within one to two days. Restaurant managers and wine stewards knew us so well , that all our food and wine choices were easily accommodated.
Our cabin was huge and well appointed and we even had 4-5 drawers that we did not have to use.
We have been on big and bigger ships, and never again.
Large cabin and the roomiest and nicest that we have been on after 10 +cruises.
