Always wanted to do a Med cruise and when we saw the itinerary it hit all the spots on our bucket list. What was even better our Nephew and his wife live in Barcelona so we added a couple of nights on the front end to visit and explore the city. We also added nights on the end in Venice. Our cabin (PV1-PENTHOUSE VERANDA) was great and had some nice perks which we really took advantage of. Early shore excursion booking (we got every one we wanted) and early reservations to the specialty restaurants. Also an earlier boarding time which was great.

Breakfast was in the main dining room and a buffet, but lots of cook to order choices. There was a specialty buffet every evening and they looked great, however we preferred the restaurants, not only was the food incredible but since we had purchased the Silver Spirts package so was the wine :-) Service was great and you really felt special wherever you were.

We had shore excursions in every port and normally the more adventurist ones. The local guides were easy to understand and added great value. We enjoyed the sea day as a time to relax for the rest of the trip.

Cabin Review

Cabin PV1-PENTHOUSE VERANDA

Just what we needed, plenty of space and the veranda was a nice touch when coming into or leaving port. Bedding, bath and closet space all fine for us.
