We had gone on a Viking River Cruise, and were so impressed with the quality that we decided to try an Ocean Cruise. We added a 2 day stay in Barcelona before the cruise and a 3 day stay in Tuscany after the cruise. Everything was arranged by Viking for this.

Upon arriving in Barcelona, we were greeted by Viking reps at the luggage pick up and they graciously guided us through customs and to our transportation to our hotel At the Hotel we were again greeted by a Viking representative to lead us to checking in to the hotel, and since we were early for our room, he led us to an area where other reps talked to us about possible excursions were could take while in Barcelona. Absolutely no pressure was put on us to take any excursions at all. The rep answered all of our questions and guided us to an excursion that would show us Gaudi sites in town. Our room was ready when we finished.

The recommended tour was great, as was the night of flamenco dancing they recommended. We were given clear instructions about where to leave our luggage for the trip to the ship, and that all went seamlessly.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

The Cabin was roomy for the two of us and the bathroom was also expectantly roomy
