Chose Viking because of a wonderful experience with their Danube cruise. Viking has very well trained individuals working with them. We too picked the Orion as it was one of the smaller vessels in the Alaskan area with only about 900 guests. Many times we wondered where all of the people were... The Orion has so many quiet areas where you may sit or lounge. Our cabin steward was fantastic, almost overly so. The Orion was fairly new and so very well decorated.

Would love to go on more Viking cruises. Wish they had a cruise just sailing in and around the Greek Isles. We too might look at the New Zealand and Australian cruise.

I was not impressed with the handling of the arriving and the check in at our departure hotel. The Viking associates were not very helpful there. When we took the Danube cruise, the post hotel experience was wonderful with sight seeing and dining suggestions. Glad that we did not have fancy or dress up nights.

Cabin Review

Cabin PS2 Penthouse Suite

Loved the layout of the cabin!! Plenty of room and storage. It seemed as though the sheets were changes almost daily. Extremely clean.
