Our first Viking Ocean cruise followed a very enjoyable Viking River cruise two years ago. We chose the British Isles tour because it was of Moderat late, 14 days, and although it covered a lot of ground it was focused on the Great Britain experience,

Our high expectations were completely met by the ship’s fine physical condition, high level of service and quality cruise amenities. Everything expected was as promised. Accommodations were more than satisfactory, with the stateroom bathrooms exceeding expectations. The sitdown restaurants were excellent, and the other dining choices varied and tasty. A wide variety of shore activities were offered to suit many activity and interest levels. (The logistics of the tourist was pretty good, given the small group focus and the variety of shore experiences available.) Spa, Gym, and shopping were high-quality and immaculate.(The absence of gaming was refreshing.)

Especially impressive was the onboard education. A group of lectures offered deep insights throughout our voyage, including history, culture, and present day conditions.
