Cannot recommend The Norwegian Epic enough, absolutely fantastic ship and on the whole professional and attentive staff.
Boarding starts at 1200 but cabins aren’t available until 1400, so no rush to board unless you want to get on early like we did and get your bearings and enjoy a glass of bubbles or two.
Fabulous entertainment, wonderful restaurants and great bars.
Speciality dining is well worth a visit, we did the Italian, Le Bistro and Moderno.
La Bistro is excellent!
Fine dining at its best!
Plenty of deck space to sunbathe, plus the ‘Posh Beach Club’ which is an additional charge but well worth it for the big comfortable beds, space and cool relaxed vibe.
Spa area/ thermal suits are fabulous, we had a spa cabin so visited the spa twice a day!
Boarding and disembarkation very easy, quick and organised.
Booked to go back on The Epic next year!
As per most cruise ships the cabins are small but the use of space is excellently with tons of storage.
Comfortable beds, standard double which are rounded at the bottom so if you’re tall like me then your feet will hang over the end.
Balconies are private and not overlooked from above (apart from those on deck 8)
Unless you’re in a suite the cabins do not have a separate bathroom, the toilet and shower are separate cubicles either side of the cabin door.
Not ideal but didn’t bother us too much, would prefer a actual bathroom as this layout could cause issues with privacy.
Hydrofoil is next to where the ship docks.
Hydrofoil departs every couple of hours, takes about 40 mins and is €14 round trip.View All 165 Sorrento Reviews
