We chose this due price and itinerary as we got a deal. We were very reticent about booking on P&O again after a previous trip on Britannia which was awful and we did not like the ship at all, other than the cabin. So, we were not really expecting much of this trip but it was an itinerary we had not done, at a good price which we booked very late.
Well, on this occasion P&O delivered on all counts. We were both amazed and delighted. Ventura is a beautiful ship, loved the interior, the entertainment venues, the casual dining was great and the actual entertainment was absolutely outstanding. Best we have ever seen on a cruise ship and credits must go to the extraordinarily hard working entertainment team of singers and dancers who delivered 4 different amazing shows and performances throughout the week, the other days with alternative entertainment which was equally good. Huge credit to the directors and choreographers who staged it all.
Our cabin was a balcony cabin at the stern, C753. It was actually at the rear corner and we had the most amazing views as we sailed down the Fjords and when docked in port.
Our cabin was a balcony cabin at the stern, C753. It was actually at the rear corner and we had the most amazing views as we sailed down the Fjords and when docked in port. There is a little vibration at times (think its when the stabilizers are used in rough seas) but only occasionally. We loved it. It has a shower only, no sofa but two chairs and was spacious enough for us. Loved the walk-in wardrobe arrangement as it made the cabin feel larger. Highly recommend.
