I was very skeptical going on this cruise after reading some pretty poor reviews on the Sun. I took my 2.5 year old son and mom on this cruise and it was actually wonderful... for the most part. Embarkation and debarkation was super awesome - easy and fast. The best of any cruise line. The open bar was fantastic....some bartenders were great....others not at all. We got a balcony room and it was perfect. The room service was way below average. They came and made beds and exchanged towels...that's it. A lot of people were loud and drunk all night and a few nights they kept me up. The four seasons dining experience was awful. The my time dining wasnt for us oddly enough. Service was lackluster and food was not good. However, Cagneys Steakhouse, one of the specialty dining restaurants was amazing! From the service to staff to the food, it was the highlight of our trip. Was not a fan of the private island. Yes, it's pretty but that's it. The beach is full of sharp rocks so walking into the water is painful and not recommended. We were very bored. I did the blue lagoon in nassau and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to and my favorite day on the cruise. There isnt much for kids....at all. I knew this before going, but it really is no fun for kids. They have one tiny kids pool with small slide we found that my son loved .....and the splash academy was nice. Just not enough. The whip is very small. The staff loved my son and went out of their way to interact with him and most of th4m remembered his name. It was very special. Overall....I had a fantastic time.
