I just had to add this review having read a recent one from someone who cruised in July 2019. I'm obviously really sorry that their cruise was not up to standard, however I have been on RSSC Voyager twice before and due to go again very soon. I do accept that cruise reviews are subjective, and that we all see things in a different way. I would say that a number of comments made are simply not right. Regent always provide cold towels around the pool on hot days, and its certainly not difficult to draw the attention of staff to order beverages. It's also nice to get up up of your chair and walk to the bar and order drinks to be delivered.

I have experienced a change in Regent over the last couple of years. I have been with them on over 12 cruises, and to some extent I do agree with fellow members that standards are beginning to slip, and I will continue to express my thoughts to Regent on that. They are still six star cruise line, but need to be very careful in the future to maintain that level of service or reap the consequences. The most important of which is staff training. Generally I have found Regent to be an excellent cruise line. However, with the yearly increase in prices should come the most excellent of service. I'm not sure we are quite their yet.

The French restaurant has had a similar menu for 12 years, and is possibly the worst eating venue on-board. Prime seven always provides. Sete Marie at Veranda is wholesome and generous. I think sometimes people look into things too much, but agree that service and food should be at it's highest.
