This had a very good itinerary, with plenty of time in Anchorage and Victoria. Although, lots of smoke in Anchorage due to nearby fires. The staff on this ship is wonderful. They all seemed to have great attitudes, and were willing to help. The ship still maintains a quiet elegance although it’s scheduled for dry dock next May. The public spaces never seem crowded, and the onboard entertainment on the Main Stage was very good. Three production shows, three comedians/magicians, and a wonderful pianist (Ryan Ahern). Temperatures during the day were in the high 60’s, but I definitely recommend warm clothes for being out on deck. The Hubbard Glacier was a good highlight. We were able to get very close, and their was calving during our visit. We also had a lot of whale sightings off the ship. This was our 4th cruise to Alaska, and I recommend this line for anyone looking for a quiet, and enjoyable experience.

Very good entertainment, and good itinerary

Cabin Review

Large Ocean-View Stateroom
Cabin C 1889
One of their older cabins. A bit short on electrical outlets, but nice room for the value.

  • Victoria
The downtown area is about 2 miles from the ship. If it’s a nice day, I recommend the walk.
You’ll pass Fisherman’s Wharf which is full of wonderful shops, and restaurants. (About 1 mile from the ship). From there, you can jump a water taxi to the Inner Harbor near the Empress Hotel.
The harbor area is alive with sights, sounds, photo opportunities, restaurants, shops, and within easy walking distance of mos everything you’ll want to do and see.
