I enjoyed being on the smaller Island Princess. My cabin was on deck 8 and I highly recommend it as it was easy to walk downstairs to meals and other activities. The food was excellent. The cruise directors staff were all very fun, especially the Cruise Director Natalie. I don't think anyone does Alaska better than Princess. The puppies in the piazza were super fun. I loved the Iditarod lady who spoke and showed pictures. Entertainment was good and live music was always going on somewhere around the ship. Alaska itself was gorgeous. The 2 days cruising the glaciers was phenomenal. Arriving in Whittier and having a private tour on our way to Anchorage Airport was just icing on the cake. Very relaxing cruise. Very few ties on formal night. I love the size of the Island Princess, but really did miss not having the 24 hour International Cafe to get snacks.
