Thought a cruise was a good way to see multiple places and not have to pack and unpack but we were disappointed. Arrival at ports were poorly planned, many of the facilities looked like they were from the ‘80’s. Food was just ok staff seemed overworked and especially in the buffet area grumpy. My idea of a vacation isn’t waiting in line to board, get food etc. shows were ok even with a drink package sitting down at the restaurant you needed to keep showing your card - the first three days be prepared to be accosted for add ons to purchase. If you want To belly up to the table and eat and drink as much as possible then maybe a cruise is for you. We paid the extra money for concierge class but a bit of a dud no real value associated with paying the extra money. Seems like the cruise line also spends nine time driving you to diamonds international then sharing any information about the local sites. I am sure there is a very profitable business relationship that exists there.
