Sail Date: Aug 2019
Cabin: Concierge Class Stateroom with Veranda

Sailed Aug 10 on 9 day western Caribbean cruise from Rome. As a point of reference I’m 73 yrs old and my lady and I have been on several cruises over the years on different cruise lines. Last year we sailed on the Solstice on an Alaska cruise and it was our favorite ship to date.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Edge, but also miss some of the niceties offered on other ships.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class Stateroom with Veranda

Cabin C2

• We were in concierge class on deck 12 port side near the aft elevators. Great location. We liked our cabin layout, comfortable bed, and really loved the infinite veranda. It makes the room feel larger and provides a better sense of privacy. The window is the full width of the room and the top ½ lowers electrically. You can sit or stand at the open window with no one staring at you from above or below as on a traditional balcony, and it’s quieter. The cabin attendant lowers a shade in the evening which totally blocks morning light if you wish, but we raised the shade and opened the window at night to enjoy the cool ocean air and hear the sounds of the sea. The weather when we sailed was great for this, although I realize that in different weather it could make the room uncomfortable because the A/C doesn’t run with the window open.
