We took NCL because it was the only major cruise line going out of New York in August to Bermuda. Everything was simple from the moment we got to New York in 30 minutes later we were on board. We did have a hiccup at first when some luggage was lost due to luggage tag being turn off but eventually was resolved. We had a great few days at Sea before we got into port with the only downfall of adults-only pool area is entirely too small for the ship 4000 people on it. We could not get seats around the pool no matter how hard we try or how early we woke up. Food in the main dining rooms was mediocre buffets were good. Irish Pub food was great actually..Lots of amenities on the ship the shows were good. Casino was nice... drink package paid for itself. Not a fan of nickel and diming of the daily service charges but oh well that's life. Bermuda was great did a cave excursion as well as Snuba Diving...yes Snuba...Horseshoe Bay was busy but nice. Caught a little rain on the way back...not a washout by any means... we got into port at 2 a.m....started the departure by 8:15am... shipping 25 minutes and in our cars 10 minutes after that unbelievably efficient process. Overall good time....Big ship always isnt Better though. Staff not as friendly as other Norwegian ships I have been on or any other for that matter.
