Exceptionnal logistics to embark, disembark and access to excursions on shore. Very efficient, well oragnised, easy to deal with.

Roomy cabins with balconies for almost everyone.

Very usefull medaillon (RF ID). The cabin door unlocks automatically as you approach it. You can buy anything on board and even on shore (to access hop-on hop-off bus tours starting at the dock), without further identification. The boat personnel equipment allows them to confirm your ID with a picture on their tablet.

Roomy, very clean, quiet.

Port Reviews

Stockholm

bus and local boat - very usefull

Copenhagen

We stayed one day in Copenhagen before and after the cruise. This was worthwhile, giving us more time to enjoy the city.

Helsinki

Charming with architecture and food market. You have to visit Ericksson's at the covered food market. They serve the best fish (salmon) soup we had in a very long time.

St. Petersburg

It is sad to see that the Ermitage is so popular with crowds competing for access. Since the groups needs to keep together, we cannot choose where to go and how long we stay at any specific location.

On the other hand, time on our own in the city was very satisfying. The Russian Tappas restaurant we had lunch in was quite an experience. The Beef Stroganoff was absolutely superb.

Tallinn

Easy acess on foot

Oslo

Direct access to the city from the port.

Least interesting and most expensive port of this cruise. Cold and rainy wheather did not help either.
