We cruised in mid August 2019 to Costa Maya & Cozumel. The main dining room & buffet dining room are warm, no need for a sweater. The staff do their jobs, provide good service, & keep everything clean. My advise to RC is to teach your staff to speak to customers. When you walk on board excited to start your vacation there are no staff at the entry door to welcome you and when you leave no staff thanks you for choosing RC or wishes you a safe trip home. The bartenders don't greet you with 'good morning' or ask if your having a good time, they just ask what you want. The room attendants and waiters in the main dining room are very friendly. When you pass staff walking around they avoid making eye contact, don't smile, & don't say a polite hello. Allot of the staff speak limited English. The food menus are very repetitive - 100% same food every morning on breakfast buffet; 80% same dinner menu in main dining room; & 80% same lunch buffet items - this gets very old quick.

The entertainers in the theater are average. The pool side contests, couples trivia game show, and karaoke contest were our favorite. RC should leave a flyer in the guest staterooms on the last day explaining that if you did not purchase the pre-paid gratuities that they have automatically billed your stateroom account $14.50 per guest per day for gratuities. The only thing we got a blank tip envelope with no information on tipping guidelines or saying we were already charged the minimum gratuity automatically & the envelope was for extra tips, or how if the 1 envelope was for the stateroom attendant only. What is you wanted to leave an extra tip for bartenders or wait staff or cooks, there was no procedure for that. Overall the ship was quaint & not too crowded which was nice. We had a relaxing time. The other guests were polite and friendly. The ship could use an update again at this point, it's looking a bit outdated. The TV's in the cabins are like 16" small.

Cabin 3N

TV is like 16" small. Bathroom was clean - no mold, but shower curtain was missing a couple hangers & no hangers were fastened - sloppy. One of the two toilet seat bolt plastic cover was missing. Water was always hot - no issue with that. AC in 3560 worked fine, cold. Bring extra hangers & 3M wall hooks. The cabin has 2 wall hooks for drying wet cloths, a cloths line in shower, & a row of small useless hooks on bathroom door. There is no dresser, only 6 small vanity drawers & 2 minor medicine cabinets. We kept our suitcases under the bed to make space. There are shelves in closet.
