Cabin: Balcony

Leaving from Seattle was a nice plus for me. Getting to ship was easy and embark process was quick and easy. Had a balcony cabin, and having a balcony was my favorite part, especially with all the fjords and passageways. The room was a bit dated but overall was satisfied and it was very clean. Plenty of space for a stateroom . Decor could be updated.

Dining was absolutely awful. Both anytime dining options were very very bad. Service was mediocre. Other options for food was the buffet which was just ok, the international cafe which had almost the same selection all week and almost as bad as main dining. Didn't try the pay places because we figured would be equally bad.

The theater entertainment was pretty good, nice shows etc. A lot of the onboard activities were kind of a joke though. The cruise director was super cheesy and overall vibe of the cruise was very cheesy. How many times can you be begged to clap for the same thing. Maybe some people enjoy this type of thing, just not for me. To be fair to the cruise director he did a great job, I just think he had to play to the vibe that princess wanted. The cruise was mainly folks over 55 and families with young kids.

Cabin Review

Balcony

the room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Nice size tv. Good closet space. Shower on the small side. Art and decor a little dated but very clean.
