Sail Date: Aug 2019

We picked this cruise because of the timing and location - early August in an area that is not too hot at that time of year. We stayed at a hotel in Quebec City the night before the cruise began - that gave us a little more time to see this charming city.

Embarkation was a breeze - we dropped off our luggage, had essentially no paper work because of the Ocean Medallions used by Princess on this cruise, then walked on the ship. After a quick bite and a look at our room, we went off the ship for a walking tour of the Old City in Quebec.

Some positives: (1) the food in the buffet was better than I expected (and better than most other cruise lines); (2) the smaller restaurants provided a nice change of pace- they were either free or a nominal price; (3) the internet is excellent - much better than other cruise lines; (4) the room is tiny (as are most cabins on other lines), but there were many places to store things; (5) the room steward was excellent; (6) good variety of equipment in the fitness center.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony - not sure of the level

Small but well designed - lots of room for storage, but very little room to move around. The steward kept the room in great shape.

Port Reviews
