It sailed out of San Francisco , I live in the Bay Area. So it was convenient and I wanted to see Alaska again. This princess ship is old and tired looking It served it’s purpose it got me to Alaska and back. If your looking for fun and excitement on this ship, It’s NOT going to happen !!! I’m use to traveling on Royal Caribbean ships. nothing to do on the grand princess BORING !! I’m 84 years old and I’m sorry I don’t play trivia ! The cabin was extremely small but then again I’m comparing it to Royal Caribbean cabins which are bigger I don’t regret going but be prepared to bring your dominoes or cards with you !! Also dining service very very slow I will wind up going back on this ship in November because it again will sail out of San Francisco and it will be going to Hawaii
