We like Viking and we liked the itinerary. The public spaces were lovely, the service was great with providers encouraged to interact with guests. Manfredi’s was disappointing, but the main restaurant and the World Cafe were excellent. The view from our balcony was amazing, and the excursions were well run and informative. I am an early riser and especially enjoyed the quiet spots on the ship early in the morning. We were very lucky with the weather - the sea was like glass through most of the trip. The only slight rockiness was later at night when we we rocked in the bosom of the deep. Since we were there in the summer, most nights it didn’t get truly dark. We kept our curtains open and watched the sea go by. Early in the morning on port days we had fabulous views of fjords and mountains. A truly enjoyable experience.
