Our second time on Queen Mary 2. First trip was transatlantic a decade ago. The ship looks still to be in great shape. The food in Britannia was uniformly excellent. Beef tenderloin, sirloin, pork Wellington, venison, and lots of excellent fish including cod and trout. We did not mess with the “buffet“/Kings Court: Even at breakfast, one could sit down and have a lovely multi-course meal serve to you within half an hour in the restaurant.
Entertainment was very good. Shipboard lectures excellent. Staff were uniformly a professional and polite.
The shore excursions in Norway were well handled. Transportation from Heathrow to London and from London to the ship and from the ship back to Heathrow was seamless.
Just fine. Very clean. Excellent linens.
