My wife wanted to cruise the Baltics. Weather was good excluding St Petersburg, not the cruise line's fault. However we booked thru the cruise line, with inclement weather we were stopped from entering for 1 hour 45 minutes - absolute ridiculous - then had to be rushed through - on the bus for a late arrival to the ship.

Nickel and dime everytime you want water or soft drinks, is terrible. Some cruise lines offer bottled water free when departing the ship for the day.

Not impressed with having to keep our curtains closed on our last day due to workers.

Fair size - balcony small.

Port Reviews

St. Petersburg

We were made to wait outside the Catherine Palace for 1:45 minutes in very inclement weather - why? No one could answer that question! Then rushed to make it back to our ship!

Rostock (Warnemunde)

We did not go to Berlin, felt it would take too much time out of our day. Took the train to Rostock - 25 minutes - very nice quaint German City - really enjoyed it.

Copenhagen

We visited Copenhagen for 3 days prior to sailing - very nice city.

Tallinn

Went around on our own - good visit with locals.

Oslo

Just walked around the city close to the pier -

St-Petersburg, we booked through Princess an all day excursion, including the Peter Hof Palace. 50 of us were made to walk around the grounds for 1.75 hours before then standing outside in line (IN VERY TERRIBLE INCLEMENT WEATHER) for another 1.50 hours before being allowed to enter. Only if you were extreme need to use the washroom facilities were you allowed to enter then exit - to wait in line. All this while other lines who arrived after use were shuttled ahead of us. Because of the extended delay we rushed though arriving back to the ship later than scheduled! Not a good experience, at a high cost.
